Workshops

The workshop mainly focuses on understanding, simulating and analyzing the performance of Power Electronic Converters using MATLAB/Simulink. It is designed to provide hands-on experience in modeling and evaluating different types of power converters widely used in electrical and electronic systems. It is used to introduce the fundamentals of power electronic converters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-AC)& to model various converter topologies using MATLAB/Simulink. This is used to analyze converter performance parameters such as voltage regulation, efficiency, THD, and ripple & to provide practical simulation experience for real-world applications in renewable energy, electric vehicles, and power systems. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to Design and simulate power converters for various applications& to evaluate and compare the performance of different converter topologies.ToUse MATLAB/Simulink effectively for power electronics research and projects & to Understand the importance of control strategies in converter performance.
